Creating "Boy Reading Book"

A commissioned project for The Learning Tree Farm, Deleplane, Virginia

In the fall of 2003, I met with Dr. Collins of Learning Tree Farms LLC to discuss the sculptural commission of a young boy (middle school age) reading a book. Dr. Collins asked that the sculpture be life size and realistic in style. The final work has been placed at the base of a gigantic oak tree centrally located on the farm.
